Your claim payout is in Leaf Credits, not cash. The amount is based on how many months your plant was enrolled and your CCS at the time of the claim. A plant enrolled for 12 months at CCS 90+ earns significantly more than one enrolled for 1 month — which means fraud never pays.
Several reasons: 30-day waiting period after enrollment. Claims require consistent photo history — AI scans flag plants with no degradation pattern. Short enrollment = tiny credit payout (15–30 credits). Fraudulent claims result in permanent account ban and forfeiture of all credits. The math simply doesn't work in a fraudster's favor.
Every enrolled plant gets a public Passport URL — a living record of its lineage, care history, check-in photos, and AI health scans. Share it when you sell or gift the plant. Buyers love the transparency. Each Passport view earns you credits.

Credits are valid for 24 months from the date they're earned. Spending any credits resets the expiry clock on your full balance.
